Mini USB Button

This button functions just like the Big Red Button, but it's about as small as I can make it.  It is available with either a red or yellow button.

The case is just less than 2"x2" and 1 1/4" high. It comes with a 6' usb cable.

So what does it do? Well, it can do almost anything you'd like. Normally, it prints a space, which makes it perfect for most DIY Photo Booth software. I use Sparkbooth, and this button is great with it. It will also work with Qlab, if you're using that program for audio or video playback, perhaps for a video installation where you'd like someone to push a button to trigger an event or cue.

If you'd like the button to print another character, that's not a problem.  We can make any of our buttons send any character or combination of characters you'd like.  It can even send a mouse click, if that's what you're looking for.

Details:
This prints a space when pressed, and has a 1 second delay to prevent a double-go, which means it can't send more than one command per second, no matter how many times the button is hit. It also requires a "key-up event" to print a second space. Therefore, if the button is pressed and held down, it still only prints one space, and will not print another until after the button is released.

Works with both Mac OS X and Windows operating systems. No drivers required.

The case is unpainted die-cast aluminum and measures 1.9"x 1.9"x 1.2". The button is approximately .85" in diameter. The USB cable is 6' long, and is not removable without opening the case. The bottom of the case has four small silicone rubber feet to protect surfaces and keep it from sliding around. The bottom of the case also comes off with four phillips screws, if you'd like to see what's going on inside, or mount the case somewhere, or remove the button and paint the case if you'd like.
